1. Nature of services
Orisons provides customised marketing services including strategy, brand, creative, performance marketing, content production, and technology. These services involve bespoke work — research, planning, creative labour, media spend, vendor coordination — that is typically non-reversible once performed.
2. Project-based engagements
2.1 Advance payments
Most project-based engagements are governed by a signed Statement of Work (SOW) that specifies an advance payment (typically 30-50% of the project fee) before work begins. This advance is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it compensates us for initial planning, scoping, and team allocation.
2.2 Mid-project cancellation
You may cancel a project-based engagement at any time with written notice. In such case:
- You will be invoiced for all work completed up to the date of cancellation, based on the milestone structure or hourly rates specified in the SOW
- Any external vendor costs, media spend, or third-party licenses incurred on your behalf before cancellation are non-refundable and remain payable
- Unfinished deliverables remain the property of Orisons until fully paid for
3. Retainer engagements
3.1 Notice period
Monthly retainer engagements typically require 30 days written notice for cancellation by either party, unless the applicable SOW specifies otherwise. During the notice period, services continue and fees remain payable.
3.2 No pro-rata refund
Retainer fees are typically non-refundable for the month in which cancellation is initiated. Services rendered during the notice period will be completed in good faith.
4. Free growth audit
The free growth audit offered via orisons.in is provided at no cost and carries no refund obligation — by definition, there is nothing to refund. You are under no obligation to engage further services after receiving your audit.
5. Media spend and third-party costs
Where we manage advertising budgets, creator partnerships, or third-party licenses on your behalf:
- Pre-paid media spend with platforms (Google, Meta, etc.) is refundable only to the extent permitted by the respective platform's own refund policy
- Signed creator or influencer contracts are typically non-refundable once executed
- Software or SaaS licenses purchased on your behalf are non-refundable once the subscription period has begun
6. How to request a refund or cancellation
To request a cancellation or refund, please email us at hello@orisons.in with:
- Your full name and company name
- The SOW or invoice reference number
- The reason for cancellation
- The specific refund amount requested, if applicable
We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and respond with a decision within 15 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a further 10 business days, subject to bank processing times.
7. Disputes
We encourage you to reach out to us first to resolve any concerns informally. Most issues can be resolved through a conversation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution and governing-law provisions of our Terms & Conditions.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date you sign an SOW will govern that engagement. Material updates will be posted on this page with a new "Effective date".
